Binn Farm Slipform Bunker
Cidon were appointed to deliver the reinforced concrete package to this EFW scheme for our client.
The waste bunker at 23 metres high x 27 metres long was constructed using a slipform rig, operating on a 24-hour cycle, completed ahead of programme over a 6 day period.
Rebuilding Lives-Creating a Pathway to a Brighter Future
The Rebuilding Lives initiative started for Cidon in 2018, designed to support serving and ex - prisoners into sustainable employment within the construction industry.
This is a project we are passionate about, making a diffe rence to individuals and families towards a brighter future.

Two large scale energy from waste schemes, Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant, and Kelvin Energy from Waste
Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant
The waste bunker stands at 54 metres long, 20 metres wide and in excess of 26 metres in height, constructed over 16 days, using a slipform rig working 24 hours a day.

Kelvin Energy from Waste
The waste bunker at 43 metres x 25 meters wide and in excess o f 24 meters high. It was constructed over 13 days using a slipform rig operating 24 hours a day. The bunker included 2500m3 of concrete and 500t of reinforcement.

Lostock Slipform Bunker
The waste bunker at the Lostock S ustainable Energy Plant stands at 54 metres long, 20 metres wide and in excess of 26 metres in height.
The construction of the bunker was carried out over 16 days, using a slipform rig working 24 hours a day.
