Awarded by new client, ICT, the £20m Northen Gateway tissue factory facility.

This is a state-of-the-art, fully integrated plant for the production and sale of tissue paper reels and of consumer products. These products will be marketed in Britain and Ireland through large retailers' private labels and ICT’s own brand FOXY.

The Italian company, ICT UK was founded in 2018 and already sells in the UK with a salesforce in place dedicated to the development of the UK market.  ICT’s next move is to build a new plant in the Northern Gateway site on Deeside, North Wales.

Cidon were appointed to deliver the reinforced concrete elements of this project, managing the sub-contract packages throughout to ensure smooth delivery of the following:

  • Building Foundations and soil improvement activities
  • Ground floor slabs
  • Elevated operational slabs
