Bardsley Construction appointed Cidon to deliver the concrete frame on the Meadowside residential development in Manchester.

Working for developer Far East Consortium, the scheme was the first part of a £200m development. It spearheaded the Northern Gateway, an investment partnership between Far East Consortium (FEC) and Manchester City Council to deliver more than 15,000 new homes across the north side of central Manchester over the next decade.

Meadowside borders Angel Meadow, part of the 20-acre NOMA neighbourhood, north of Manchester city centre.

This 12-storey reinforced concrete frame building provided 131no one, two and three bedroom apartments together with a 5no three bed town houses and commercial units. The external façade included a mix of masonry, PPC aluminium windows, curtain walling and feature aluminium rain screen cladding, together with hard and soft landscaping including a new car park and public realm works.
