Excelsior Works

Cidon were appointed for the concrete works package at this eight-storey development for client GMI Construction. The project comprised of 108no PRS apartments, built on the former printing and book binding works next to the Bridgewater canal.

Cidon's relationship with developer Mulbury City was fundamental for this project award.

Excelsior Works presented a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with basement parking. The former printing mill had been unoccupied for many years, and was subsequently demolished in 2015 following a partial collapse of the structure. It is one of the final vacant sites on this stretch of the Bridgewater canal to be redeveloped.
