Speak Up Now! (SUN) team, winning the 'Educating and Influencing Award'

We are delighted to celebrate with Speak Up Now! (SUN) team, winning the 'Educating and Influencing Award’ presented by Sheffield Voice Youth Awards 2024 for their Cozy Crates initiative. This is a project Cidon have been proud to support as part of our make a difference campaign 2024. 

In October, Cidon presented the first batch of Cozy Crate hampers to the Sheffield Children’s Involvement team, Speak Up Now! (SUN) project. Following a research programme conducted by the Speak Up Now! (SUN) group, The Cozy Crate project was initiated, to support young people leaving care and moving in to their first property for independent living.

The Cozy Crates have been carefully considered by the group, offering a useful selection of items to welcome the young people in to their new home. Cidon, joined with our generous partners and suppliers have donated the first 15 hampers, which were received with such gratitude by the group.

Again, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to our partners and suppliers for all their kind donations, as well as our team who have taken part in various events throughout the year to raise money towards the project.
