Make a Difference

One of the greatest rewards of our success is the opportunity to give back and support our chosen charities through our annual Make a Difference Campaign.

Each year, our charity committee selects a number of local or lesser-known charities to support. We contribute in many ways, including fundraising, hosting events, undertaking small building projects, and providing items for initiatives identified by the charities themselves.

Our team regularly takes on a variety of challenges and events to help raise awareness and funds. From runners in the Yorkshire 10K, to group 100km cycle rides, charity raffles, walking events, and Christmas appeals — there is always something for our team and suppliers to get involved in.

Over the last few years, we have raised over £35,000 for our chosen charities, demonstrating the dedication and generosity of our team and supporters in backing causes that matter.

Supporting Families with Team Ted Foundation
This year, we are proud to be supporting Team Ted Foundation, a Sheffield-based charity that provides vital support to children with cancer or life-limiting conditions and their families.

Founded in memory of Teddy Kelly, Team Ted was created to honour the courage and adventurous spirit of a remarkable little boy. Today, the charity continues Teddy’s legacy by helping families create special memories together during incredibly difficult times.

Speak Up Now! (SUN) is a group of care-experienced young adults aged 17–25 who work together to create positive change for children and young people leaving care.

Cidon are proud to support SUN’s Comfy Cosy Crates and other group initiatives, which help young people transitioning into their first independent homes after leaving care.
